HOW DO HID XENON CONVERSION KITS PERFORM?

High Intensity Discharge (HID) lighting replaces the use of halogen gas with Xenon gas. The light emanates from an arc discharge between two closely held electrodes. This discharge is hermetically sealed inside a compact quartz crystal tubular capsule. HID xenon conversion kits uses two ballasts for each of the bulb used in the kit. Ballast controls the flow of current in the circuit and provide balance voltage and avoid fluctuations. If you use AC ballasts then it is more convenient. The amount of light produced is greater than a standard halogen bulb while consuming less power; this light more closely approximates the color temperature of natural daylight.
In all High Intensity Discharge lamps, light is produced by passing a current through a metal vapor. Free electrons colliding with an atom in the vapor momentarily knock an electron into a higher orbit of the atom. HID bulbs produce light which is 10x brighter than conventional halogen light. HID xenon conversion kits are good for off road drive and provides a longer visibility of the track and avoid the chances of having any accident.
